Ready to become a stream scientist? Join Trail Mommas this July for a hands-on STEAM adventure at Durant Nature Preserve!
We'll roll up our sleeves, step into the creek, and discover the amazing world of macroinvertebrates—the tiny creatures that help scientists determine the health of our streams. Kids will learn about stream habitats, search for aquatic organisms, identify important indicator species, and record their discoveries through observations and sketches in their very own field journal.
